I want to create a private site for me to manage my personal studies. My study videos will be produced on Camtasia with markers and hotspots to allow me to click around on the video. What would you recommend?
Thanks
Robert

Hi Robert,
I designed this site using a highly customized version of Centric Pro, a child theme for the Genesis framework.
Based on what you've described, it sounds like your video player will be the most important ingredient, not your WordPress theme. You can pretty much choose any theme you like, but I would start with this list of recommended WordPress themes.
While the WordPress theme you choose will be responsible for the layout, colors, and typography used in your pages, the video player you choose will determine whether or not your users can click around in the video, etc.
I use Vimeo Pro, and it does support chapter markers, which would enable your visitors to jump to key moments in your videos. It also supports the creation of clickable calls to action, like end screens, or pop-up cards that can contain descriptive text and links.
Once your video is uploaded to Vimeo (or whichever video host you choose), and you've created your chapter markers and/or calls to action, just copy the Vimeo URL to that video, and paste it into your WordPress page or post, wherever you want the video to appear. The video will be automatically embedded wherever you paste the link.

Hope this helps!
