I got mine from Theme Trust and am very happy with it and the customer service associated with it.

Hi ken

This is the million-dollar question for some, personally there is more than just choosing a theme you need to look at the quality of the author and the reviews and the standard of work they consistently put out, personally I would never buy from theme forest every single person I have seen who purchased from them has trouble like no support or badly coded items or the product just doesn’t work.

I would personally guarantees the support and quality of the places below as I have dealt with them all for at least 2 years

The only places I use are the following

Studio press, this site is built on studio press

Elegant themes

Wpmu DEV- Owned by WordPress

Cobalt apps

Woo Commerce- Owned by WordPress

Agree with your comments. One correction… WPMU DEV is NOT owned by WordPress.

In fact, WPMU DEV has a controversial past within the WordPress community. I’m not a fan of their “membership-required” approach. Even if you only want to use one of their products, you’ll still have to pay a $79 monthly fee to continue receiving updates and support. That’s less than ideal.

I completely agree with David's advice above. The most important thing to consider is support — and most independent theme authors fail miserably at delivering this critical aspect.

As of this writing, we recommend these theme companies:

Elegant Themes — 87 beautiful, premium WordPress themes for only $69! Plus, check out Divi, one of the most popular all-in-one themes ever made for WordPress.

StudioPress — The first and most popular theme platform for WordPress. This site is powered by StudioPress!

ThemeForest — The largest selection of premium WordPress themes. But, buyer beware — only buy from top-rated authors who have a proven track record of stellar support!

Array — 17 of the most gorgeous, best-designed WordPress themes for just $89!

Hope this helps!
