I'm a beginner and experimenting. Wish to go faster so that website could be published.

There is one thing that I hope with this plug in for opt-in form:

• the opt in plug-in has to work with Mailchimp so that I could collect email addresses.

My main question:

What is a good plugin that I can use so readers could opt in to get free ebook?

Thank you.

Celeste

Hi Celeste,
Great question. On the upper end, I would recommned you check out Optin Monster. That will enable you to collect email optins in MailChimp.
On the free side, check out the brand new Holler Box plugin. It's less obtrusive than a pop-up, and can still integrate with MailChimp.
Once you've set up your MailChimp list, you'll want to edit the confirmation or welcome email that gets sent immediately to new subscribers to include the link to download your free ebook.
Hope this helps!

Mail Chimp also has a new feature (check out Automation) where you can send a message after someone opts into to your mailing list. That message can have a link to your ebook.
