If you look at the page here http://www.wordpix.ca/nothinfancy/product-category/bedroom/ you'll see where I'm having trouble. The fourth pic from the left at top is only reproduced to half its depth. Many other pix are shown inconsistantly. I have regenerated thumbnails but that makes no difference. In my WooCommerce Settings, I've set Catalog Images to 210 X 140 and checked Hard Crop. I'm not sure if Catalogue Images means the thumbnail images in my Shop page, nor if 210 X 140 is width X height or what Hard Crop exactly is.
Is there a way to force a regular grid layout on these pages?
Also cropping of thumbnails is inconsistant from Shop page to Catalog page. The Bedroom pic with green background, a category image, is correctly cropped on the home page but if you click it to get to the category itself you find it is incorrectly cropped as a product image.
I'm trying to add widgets to the right in the catalog pages. I can't get a display for active tags nor the filter by tags widget. I've created tags according to your video and tried to attach them to products but they don't stay in place.
Also, along the top is a list of categories which only work inconsistantly.
Sorry for all the confusion on my part but I've watched your videos throughout and am still having problems.
Hi Stu,
These are actually not issues with WordPress or WooCommerce, but with the current theme you've chosen for your site.
The layout(s) and sizes of the images are handled by the CSS in your current theme.
To modify the sizes and/or layout, you'll need to modify the theme. If you're comfortable with editing CSS, you can edit the theme's stylesheet in Appearance > Editor, making modifications to the styles as needed.
If you don't want to tackle this yourself, you might take up these issues with the creators of your theme (Flatsome). Or, you can hire a WordPress developer using the link on the right-hand side of this page.
Hope this helps!
