I have two original photos that are over 10 mb in size and I cannot find a program online to resize images that large. Can you guide me ?

Most folks prefer to resize their photos or images using a desktop app on their own computer, before uploading them to their WordPress site. This ensures the best quality and control over the process.
You're right... you don't want to be uploading 10 MB images to your WordPress site.
I use Adobe Photoshop or Pixelmator to handle editing and resizing images. But you should also be able to export a smaller version of your images directly from whichever app you currently use to manage your photos.
PicMonkey is an online image editor. And for just resizing images, there are dozens of online utilities. But I'm not sure if those online utilities will work with images as large as 10 MB.
