I am new to WordPress. I am receiving emails from with the content listed below. Please explain why I am getting these messages.
New user registration on your site Joelle Enterprise:
Username: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx322006
Email: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx@yahoo.com

As an Administrator of a WordPress site, you will receive an email notification any time someone creates a new account on your site.
In this case, it appears a visitor to your site has created a new account.
If you do not want visitors to be able to register new accounts on your site, disable the “Anyone can register” option next to “Membership” on the General Settings panel for your site.
