I am planning to build an eCommerce website. I have VIP customers and regular customers. My website is going to connect to suppliers' API. After connecting to my website, I may do some calculations on the price and show them on my website.
In short, is it possible using WordPress to build an online store that customers with different level may see a different price? And is it possible for VIP customers to see more products (special products only for VIP customers)? So, essentially the same product page, but with different prices for different customers — and extra items for VIP customers. Is that possible to do using WordPress? Big thanks.

Excellent question. And yes, you can display different prices or other content for specific customers (like your VIPs), using add-ons.
Assuming you're using WooCommerce to power your eCommerce site, you'll also need to purchase the Dynamic Pricing add-on for WooCommerce.
That add-on will enable you to specify advanced product pricing for each product, which you can choose to show to existing customers you've added to a role you configure, like “VIP Members”.
To your second question, yes, you can also hide certain products from the public, and only display them to customers you've designated as VIPs. Again, you'll need to install another WooCommerce add-on to accomplish this.
The WooCommerce Protected Categories plugin allows you to designate certain product categories that will be hidden from the public, but visible to customers you've designated as VIP. So, any products you create and assign to that special, hidden category, will only be shown to VIPs.
This blog article on their site explains how to create private products in WooCommerce using their plugin.
There are thousands of add-ons for WooCommerce that enable you to create just about any type of online store you can imagine. While some add-ons are free, most carry a cost for updates and support. Those costs can add up over time, but it may be well worth the cost if those add-ons enable you to generate revenue.
Hope this helps!
