When I add a hyperlink to a word, the word then does not show on the page unless you hover over it. How do I fix this so the word shows and the link is active?
Hi Hudson,
It sounds like you're correctly creating the link, but your theme styles are causing that link to appear in white (effectively making it invisible) until/unless you hover your mouse over the link.
Every WordPress theme has a stylesheet that contains CSS — a set of instructions that tell web browsers how to render the page, including fonts, colors, layouts, and more. Nearly every stylesheet includes colors for text links, and usually a different color for the hover effect when you mouse over a link.
What theme are you currently using on your site?
And if you're willing to share a link to your site — preferably to a page or post where you've created a link — we can get a better picture of what's happening.
I'll be standing by to help!
Hi Shawn,
The website was created by Packerland and they are using a customized theme.
Here is the link to the page with the most problems:

The other occurrences are individual words on various pages.

Hmm… here’s what I see when I visit that page:
There don’t apepar to be any links that only appear when hovered over. Can you help me identify one of the problematic links?
