Happy you found the article on membership sites helpful.
This forum is currently powered by the DW Question & Answer plugin. They have a free version (linked above), and a premium version, which is what we're using here.
We searched high and low before landing on this Q&A plugin. Most forum plugins are simply too complicated or over-bloated. We needed a simple way for our members to ask a question and get an answer. This one has fit the bill nicely, and their support team has been helpful with the few bugs we discovered along the way.
Highly recommend it if you're looking for a simple forum or discussion solution.

Wow... thanks for the quick answer.
I do like the way it looks. Seems more accessible than many forums.
Is it easy to get it to do single login access to your membership and forum?
I noticed you have it installed on a different wordpress install than your membership. Is that necessary?

No, this forum is installed on the same site as our membership. So we only have one login for our members and/or forum.
