Hey, Daniel. I really like your videos. I wish I had worked throught them before I started my site. I just muddled through WooC hoping I was doing it right. Your videos have helped me clarify some mysteries. I recommend them to others. They are very clear and succinct.
Have a look at www.CEUonestop.com. These are online courses and webinars in career development that I sell. The biggest complaint is that the Continue Shopping button is confusing and it is difficult to figure out how to purchase multiple items.
As a tech-challenged, aging boomer, I am pretty proud of this accomplishement even through I know imporvements can be made.
Anone in this forum who has suggestions, I would welcome them.
Thank you for the kind words on the videos! I’m glad that they have helped.
Congratulations on getting your site up and running! That is a huge accomplishment you can be proud of.
On the Continue Shopping button question: If you want to encourage customers to keep adding courses to their cart you might want to go to the WooCommerce > Settings > Products tab and press Display. Then uncheck the “Redirect to cart page after successful addition”. This will keep customers on the product page after adding to cart.
Also, see if your theme has the option to add a Breadcrumb to the top of the pages. This will show something like “Shop > Online Courses > Interests to Careers” on the top of the page so customers can click on the category to view more courses.
How do I check to see if my theme allows breadcrumbs? I do have a drop down menu that comes sort of close to what you are suggesting, but not totally there.
BTW, if I uncheck redirect to cart, I lose the continue shopping button. That doesn’t help.
Each theme is different, so I’d suggest checking the theme documentation, or contacting the theme author.
