Is it possible to attach a sticky single static page/post to open each category in posts in a blog? If so, how? This could resolve an issue of trying to introduce each category in my motor racing blog. Thank you.
By default, category archive pages simply show a list of all posts within that category.
But you might check out the free WP Custom Category Pages plugin:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-custom-category-pages/
It lets you customize your category pages by adding custom content, creating custom headlines (h1 tags), and more. This should enable you to create more compelling landing pages and introduce your content for each category.
If you prefer instead to create a ‘sticky’ post for each category, then check out the Category Sticky Post plugin instead:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/category-sticky-post/
It enables you to mark a post to be placed at the top of a specified category archive page. It's like sticky posts, but specifically for categories.
