Shortcodes and oEmbeds

We do cover oEmbeds in our video on embedding video and audio.

And shortcodes vary wildly, depending on the theme or plugin that is generating the shortcodes. We could create a generic video covering shortcodes, but it might not be applicable to everyone. It could even result in confusion if someone attempted to make use of a shortcode example from our video on a site that doesn't include or support that same shortcode.

Does that make sense? How would you recommend we address this in the most effective way?
