Hello everyone,
I would really like to know how to add a search box to my website, so that people can find context on my pages/posts. I know how to add the element "live search box", but what I do not know is the following: how do I tag/mark/categorize...my pages? The "auto fill in" always says "no matches" and the results if I confirm anyway says that nothing can be found. I would really appreciate your help.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Timo,
The default WordPress search widget indexes the title and content of your posts, but not your pages. To include your pages in the search results, you may want to consider the Search Everything plugin.
But you also references an “auto fill-in” feature. That feature is not included in WordPress by default, so that leads me to wonder if your site is already using a 3rd party plugin to power your search. If so, you'll want to reach out to the creator of that plugin—or your theme—to ask them why your search results do not include pages.
Hope this helps!
