I have only downloadable products. The customer is given the link to the webpage upon payment. Do I understand correctly that I have to go inot the area where the purchases are listed and manually change processing to complete? Meaning WC doens't do it automatically.

Make sure to set downloadable products to be both Virtual (remove shipping) and Downloadable. If both of these are set and you are using a payment gateway that is not BACS, Cheque, or an offline payment method then the order should automatically set itself to complete.

It doesn’t though. I went back into the sales page and noticed that some items were listed as pending, but I had received the $ in my bank. I do have them listed as virtual and down loadable. Your very good videos taught my why I should continue using virtual. I didn’t realize that it had to do with the shipping aspect. Thanks for the information on that. WooCommerce is very clear on some things and foggy on others. Your videos are helping to clear the air so to speak.

Daniel Espinoza replied 9 years ago

Pending is a different status. That means that WooCommerce hasn’t received notification that the payment was received.

Which payment gateway was the order placed with? Check the Order Notes section to see if there is any error or info message relating to why the order is Pending and not Processing.
