Just went through the course and I'm wondering if a lot of these Jetpack options are automatically included? In the videos there are toggle buttons, but in Jetpack > Settings, there is no toggle button but only an info > Learn More button.

No, there should be toggle buttons next to every option in Jetpack > Settings to enable/disable each one.
Can you please share a screenshot of your Settings so we can see what you're seeing? That might help us to determine what's going on.

replied 7 years ago Thanks for sharing the screenshot snippets. But I’m particularly interested in seeing the context — the rest of the WordPress administration panel you’re seeing. I’m trying to determine if you’re using a hosted WordPress.com site, or if you’re using a WordPress.org self-hosted site, and the role permissions for your account may be blocking your ability to enable/disable those features.
By default, every module includes the ability to enable/disable features. So we need to determine why your unique setup does not allow you to make those changes.
Can you share a screenshot of your complete WordPress dashboard panel for Jetpack > Settings?
