Can you share a link to the site in question, so we can see what’s going on?
https://streamlineelectric.com/services-we-provide/
On this page, it shows the menu on the right side of the page as opened: the two sub menus are there. When you click on the first one, “Our services”, the menu expands, then the whole page refreshes. It DOES NOT do that with the second sub menu, “additional services”. However, that second sub menu comes to a page, whereas the first one has several pages attached. I really have no idea why the first sub menu refuses to stay expanded.
I should also add that I have all the items under Our Services listed with “Our Services” as the parent page. But I have not given any of them an assigned order. I did try giving them all a number order, but it didn’t help with my problem. I also tried removing all the pages from that menu and re-added them, but that didn’t fix it either.
It looks to me like we’re not talking about menus at all. Rather, the “Services” link simply links to a page: https://streamlineelectric.com/services-we-provide/
Likewise, the link to, “ADDITIONAL SERVICES OFFERED” links to the page: https://streamlineelectric.com/additional-services/
These are not “expanded menus”. They’re simply pages, each of which contains different content.
The “Services” page contains a couple of paragraphs of content, plus an unordered list of links to pages.
The “ADDITIONAL SERVICES OFFERED” page contains a bulleted list, with none of the text converted into links.
You’ll want to edit the contents of each page if you want to make those list items link to their corresponding pages. But they’re not making use of actual menus, which is why you’re not seeing a change when you edit menus.
Hope this helps point you in the right direction!
Actually, I’m MORE confused now (not because of your explanation) as it was an expanding menu before I started messing with it. So now I have to figure out exactly where I went wrong. Thanks for trying to help!
