Hi Zolan, WordPress uses “themes” to determine the layout, look, and feel of your content. There are thousands of themes from which to choose, and they range the entire gamut of price, from free to hundreds of dollars. You can search for themes directly within your WordPress dashboard by going to: Appearance > Themes > Add New Alternatively, you can search for themes on the official WordPress Theme Directory. We've done the hard work of narrowing this field down and created a list of the best WordPress themes for just about any type of site. The themes we recommend are highly flexible, and include full-featured page builders so you can create just about any type of website you can imagine — without having to learn how to code! Creating a custom theme requires deep knowledge of several coding languages, including HTML, PHP, and CSS, as well as the robust library of WordPress-specific functions, hooks, and filters. Hey Shawn Hesketh,
Many thanks for your response.
I am a Web developer and looking to extend my expertise to WordPress, hence I was looking for tutorial as to Creating a new template within a WordPress theme. However, I do understand that this portal gives us the necessary tools and info to get started on WP.
