The layer slider appears to be missing from the homepage of my site. Can you help?

Hi Cindy,
By default, WordPress does not include a homepage layer slider. If your site has a slider on the homepage, it's likely either being provided by your WordPress theme, or a 3rd party plugin.
I can't give you more guidance because you didn't include a link to your website. But your best bet will be to contact the creator of the theme or plugin that is powering the slider on your website.
You can find those contact and support details by either viewing the author details on the Appearance > Themes page, or the Plugins page.
