I have several questions. Although I think the answer is moving up to the paid version rather than the free one, I figured I'd ask first. I changed the header color. It shows up when I'm editing the site but not when I am viewing it. Even though I've set the block to list, once again it shows up in edited version, not when I am viewing the page. Finally, I'm working on a one page site and have set a sticky top menu, which works beautifully with the exception that the header hides under the menu when it jumps to that section.
Please disregard this question. I did some further research and found that I can not unlock the features I wanted to use with the free version. Thanks All.
Hey, Chuck, when you say “free version,” are you referring to one of the WordPress.com paid plans?
Because the WordPress software itself IS free, and you can do anything you want with a WordPress-powered site—including any/all of the changes you outlined above.
