Hi,

I am new to WP and have been given the task of modifying some of our clubs pages. As well as using WP for its basic Web display our club also uses Constant Contact to maintain and email/member list.

My question is:

From within WP, is it possible to query Constant Contact to select the details of a specific email address. The idea being to have a mechanism to determine membership?

Thanks

Phil

Hi Phil,

Great question. I'm not aware of a ready-built integration between Constant Contact and WordPress that would protect content on your website based on whether or not they are a subscriber.

I'm certain Constant Contact has an API. If so, it should be possible to write a script that validates against the list of subscribers in CC.

You'll likely need a plugin like Restrict Content Pro to handle the protection of content on your site, and then have a custom add-on written to check against CC.

I would recommend you either reach out to the support team at Restrict Content Pro to ask them for a recommendation, or hire one of the experts at Codeable to knock this out for you at an affordable rate:
