Karen Bush asked 5 years ago

I just finished the JetPack Site Stats module so am working to apply my new knowledge. To claim my site, Pinterest tells me to "paste this tag into the <head> section of your site’s index.html file." I have the code. How do I paste it into my WordPress site?
Thanks for your help.

Hi Karen, The best way to add code snippets like this to your WordPress site is to install and activate a plugin like Header Footer Code Manager. It provides an easy interface to add snippets of code to the header or footer of your site. Once you've installed and activated the plugin, create a new snippet, paste your code into the field provided by the plugin, choose the “Header” location, and save your newly-created snippet. When you're finished, you'll need to return to Pinterest to confirm that your site is ready for them to review. Hope this helps!
