Back to: Elementor 101: Get Started with Elementor
In this lesson, we’ll complete our example website, and you’ll learn how to build a site-wide header and footer for your site in Elementor.
We’ve now built our simple 3-page website and it’s looking great on all screen sizes. We have two remaining tasks: create the site-wide header and footer.
So, in this lesson, we’ll tell WordPress which page is our site’s home page, in Settings > Reading.
Then, we’ll create our simple, 3-page navigation menu in Appearance > Menus.
We’ll then use the Header builder within Site Settings to create a site header that’ll appear at the top of every page of the site.
And finally, we’ll use the Footer builder also in Site Settings to create a site-wide footer.
Note: The header and footer builder we use in this lesson is a feature of the free Hello theme. For complete custom-design control of every aspect of your headers and footers, check out Elementor Pro.
