Back to: Elementor 101: Get Started with Elementor
In this video, we’ll take a quick tour of the four main areas of the Elementor interface: the Canvas, Widgets Menu, Settings Menu, and the Bottom Toolbar.
To access the Elementor interface, click ‘Edit With Elementor’ on any page in the Pages area of the WordPress dashboard.
If you don’t see that option, click through to edit the page, and then click the ‘Edit With Elementor’ button at the top of that page.
And if you don’t see either of those options, it may be that your web designer has disabled your ability to edit pages with Elementor. If that’s the case, ask your web designer.
The four areas of the Elementor interface:
- Canvas – the blank space where you build your page designs.
- Widgets Menu – layout, content, and functionality elements that you drag-n-drop onto the canvas.
- Settings Menu – accessed via the menu icon at the top left of the Elementor editor.
- Bottom Toolbar – containing four more menu items: Page Settings, Navigator, Responsive, Preview
