That is an excellent question, Jorge. As you know, we've created courses for several of the most popular page builder plugins for WordPress, including Beaver Builder, Elementor, and Spectra. But how do you decide which one is right for you?
The easiest way to decide which page builder is right for you is to watch the first couple of videos in each of our courses. You'll gain a quick introduction to each of them, and will be able to quickly determine whether or not you like the user interface and the overall experience.
Next, consider the library of starter templates and block patterns. Each of the page builder plugins we recommend include a vast library of starter templates and pre-built patterns you can import with just a click, which makes it really easy to start a new website from scratch, or quickly build new pages for your site.
If you're planning to dedicate time to learning a particular builder so you can create sites for others, you might also take a look at the user community. Do they have an active community of users who share their experiences, tips, and tricks with newer users like yourself? If so, you'll likely be able to get answers to your questions as you encounter tricky situations.
Finally, decide whether you prefer a proprietary user interface, or one that more closely resembles WordPress itself. Beaver Builder uses a proprietary page editor, but also offers WYSIWYG, so what you see in the editor closely resembles what you see on your final site. Elementor also uses a proprietary editor with lots of controls for every part of your page, but that can be overwhelming for some users. Spectra works within the default WordPress editor, so while it adds new options and features, it still looks and functions like WordPress itself, so it's more familiar.
But again, the best way to decide is to kick the tires for yourself. When you enroll in our Elementor or Spectra courses, you'll also get a private ‘sandbox’ site with those plugins pre-installed for you. So you can follow along with our video tutorials, or feel free to experiment and play with each one to see which one you prefer using.
Hope this helps, and do let us know which one you choose!
