Ok, so this is tricky. My blog is set to www.livebigstaycurious.com so when you put that in, it takes you to the blog but when watching the course WP101 and under "Posts vs Pages", the man says that you can have a Welcome page and then move the actual blog to a tab on the menu...so my question is...how does one do this?!?!

i'd like to have custom links

www.livebigstaycurious.com/blog

www.livebigstaycurious.com/aboutme

www.livebigstaycurious.com/contact

you get the idea...but how can i change the main URL to the Welcome page and make that static and then move the blog (currently attached to the main URL) to like the example above?

Thanks in advance!

Hi Matthew,

This is easily done, and the steps to use a static page as your homepage are covered in depth in this video:

https://wp101.com/tutorial/customizing-the-theme/

You might also review this video, which covers how to add static pages to your site's navigation menu:

Hope this helps!
