Hi I have uploaded a PDF file to my media library and installed a link to it from a page. I can get the PDF files to load on my laptop and PC however they won't open on my cell. Both the page and the PDF file loads and it has an Open button but when I press it refuses to open. Is there a particular plugin I can use or am I missing something really obvious?

Hi John,
That's curious. I wonder, what is the operating system of the cell phone in question? Can you open PDFs from other sources on your phone? I'm wondering if your phone lacks support for PDFs.
If that's not it, is it possible the PDF file is corrupt, or encrypted?
To your question, there is no particular plugin required to support linking to PDF files, and if it's working on your PC, we can conclude that you've created the link correctly and your website is working as it should. The issue most likely lies with the phone in question.
That would be my best guess, without having a link to the page or PDF in question.

Thanks Shawn. I’ve managed to get it loading using PDF Embedder from wp-pdf.com I think the issue is my phone. As I said things were showing on the screen but not loading. My phone is a Cubot using Android Lite. It’s a cheap Chinese copy of Notes. Thanks again for your help.
