Hi,
I have a WordPress site with WooCommerce that is using the Storefront theme. I want to change the wording of the email templates the customer receives.
I know I can click 'Manage' next to each template and change the wording, but at the bottom it says the following:
To override and edit this email template copy woocommerce/templates/emails/customer-new-account.php
to your theme folder: storefront/woocommerce/emails/customer-new-account.php
.
There is a button to 'Copy file to theme' - do I click that? And when I have, how do I change the 'copied' file? You can tell I'm not very good at this, can't you!
Thanks,
Jane :-)

Hi Jane,
Yeah, that's not the most clear message, is it?
To copy and move files like the email template referenced in that message, you'll need to use an FTP application to connect to your web server.
You should also be able to find a file editor within your web hosting control panel. To be clear, I'm not talking about your WordPress administration area, but rather the control panel provided to you by your web hosting provider.
Because every web host handles this differently, I can't really provide much more guidance than that. But I hope this helps point you in the right direction!
