Aha! Thanks for finally lifting me over the hump of ignorance, Shawn. It must have been harder for you than for me. But now I have to ask a question I don’t really expect you to be able to answer: I’m not a particularly stupid person, so why wasn’t I able to understand, let alone master, the allegedly easy-to-understand WP procedures without your individual, patient tutoring? Nothing that you explained in your last answer had been at all clear—to me, at any rate—from any WP tutorials in WP101 or anywhere else. And even reviewing the WP instructions, now knowing what you’ve drilled into my thick skull, I still can’t find anywhere, for instance, that a static page should have no content; or, indeed, what constitutes content . . .

Happy to help. And you're right... I don't really have an answer for why your question was particularly tricky to resolve without additional clarification. Sometimes, concepts just don't ‘land’ and need a little further explanation.
From the first time you reached out via email with your question, to the final time I answered your related question on this forum, it seems that there was a misunderstanding of the terminology (which happens fairly often), particularly the differences between pages and posts.
As for what constitutes ‘content’... well, that's pretty much anything you put on a page or post. Your content could be text, a photo, a video, or pretty much anything else you want your website visitors to see.
